We are happy to announce that Borealis and TRP have joined Salsa Cycles, Surly Bikes, and 45N as sponsoring vendors of the 2014 Global Fat Bike Summit and Festival. Stop by each of their tents on Saturday to see what hot, new winter products they are showing off. While you’re in the expo area, make your way to Bar Mitt’s tent and Ogden’s own The Bike Shoppe to see what these additional vendors have to offer.
The Global Fat Bike Summit fat bike race is set to take place at Mt. Ogden Golf Course nestled in the foothills of the Wasatch range. Choose from Advanced/Elite or Novice/Beginner categories. The Novice/Beginner course is roughly 15K and will begin at 11am. The 25K Advanced/Elite flight will start at 1pm. Riders will make 4 passes through the Expo and Festival area where they will be cheered on by local spectators and heckled by their favorite pals. Stick around afterwards for raffles, liquid recovery and local fare.
The first 150 participants to register will receive this commemorative bottle opener so be sure to register early and save your place at the starting line!
